Not so daily, huh?

Hmm I know its supposed to be daily and all but not so much is it? In my defense I have been very busy with school and all lately. Anyway, here's todays stuff.

I am thinking summer make-up today, and here are some links and whatnot to see some of what I think is really good summer makeup. In this post I am trying to use make-up from many different brands even though in life I tend to favour only a few.

Foundation; If using liquid , it needs to be light, easy to apply and not oily. I personally use Collection 2000 Sheer Moist Foundation which I love. The best bit? She shape slips really easily into my (small) make-up bag! Another I have heard to be really good is Max Factor Liquid Illusion Foundation which yeah, when I tried it in the shop was amazing (on the back of my hand anyway). Because it's summer you might find powder foundation just so much easier to handle, in which case I'd reccommend Prestige Perfectly Matte Translucent Powder

Eyeshadow; I currently use the prettyest light gold/champagne colour on my eyes which is slightly metallic so lightens and brigtens and looks gorgeous. The extra bonus? It takes abou 30 seconds to apply! I love the colours of both Rimmel London's Colour Rush Mono Eyeshadow in Spun Gold and 17 Glitter eyeshadow in Gold Digger is very pretty too. Fab Tip! If you aren't sure about gold eyeshadow, use some silver and put a little bit of yellow or bronzing powder straight over that. You should get the right kind of result with this and see how it looks!

Mascara; Well you definitley want something waterproof for hot days (especially if you are going to the beach) because who wants thier mascara running on a hot sweaty day? I am in love with Benefit BADgal Waterproof Mascara and Miss Sporty Just clear mascara because although it is not coloured you don't have to worry about it running and it is quick to apply

Lipgloss; Any, really. Rimmel Sweet Jelly Lipgloss is so yummy and comes in a shade for every mood. I also love Clinique Full Potential Lips which, yeah, is quite sticky but lasts for ever.

Have fun experimenting

Some fab summer sets!

Sorry about the bumpy start to this blog, but bear with me a little. Here is (another) quickie today, I found some great summery fashion sets on polyvore and thought you might like to see them.

1) One of mine, couldn't resist a shameless plug to my own stuff. Entered in a couple of contests, one for a summer contest (and won third place!) and one for a mosaic contest (contest not over at time of publishing this post).

2) This is a really pretty, summery set, with a dress and lots of cute matching accessories. An idea for hazy summer days perhaps?

3) A fab one with an awesome yellow and cobalt colour combination. The colours just scream "sun, sand and sea"!

4) Finally, I bring you an immensley cute, pinky-orange one, with pretty summer colors and summery items.

Hope you like,

Day 01

Bonjourno, mon petit pallies!
Here is an utterly fantabulous pair of shoes that I (think) I will be getting sometime soon. I need them for rock climbing. Yes, I rock climb (indoors, not outdoors). Anyway, I need some shoes that are comfy and casual, and like trainers but more flexible, and like Converses but cheaper. So I thought I would try and get these! They are flamingo printed which is good because a) I like flamingoes and b) Flamingo-print everything is supposed to be hot and v. in fashion. I do not particularly care about the fashion bit but hey, it's a bonus. Enjoy!

If not it's a place where you can create loads of sets of various types, but based mainly around fashion and its arty side. Check out my profile here and see what kind of stuff can be made. Join up if you like but be sure to add me!
